Reception Admissions and New Starters

We can't wait to welcome our new reception children to our school!

Starting school is a big change for our reception children and we want to make this transition as smooth as possible. 

Once places are confirmed, we will be in regular communication with all our families to get to know you and your child, and to help you prepare for their first day. This will include transition visits, meetings with their new teacher and a parent information session. 

As September approaches, we will also provide an introduction pack to all families, that will include further information on how we support our children to transition into Reception.

Visits for Prospective Parents and Children - September 2024!

Is your child is due to start school in September 2024? If so, you can now book a visit to Thameside School where you will be warmly welcomed.  We offer a one to one visit with a senior member of staff, during which, you will have the opportunity to tour the school and ask any questions you may have.
